Hydraulic Engineer
The challenge as a Hydraulic Engineer in AXTech is not selecting components. The challenge is understanding and engineering how the complete system behaves.
At AXTech, our biggest hydraulic systems are measured in megawatts, not kilowatts.
We deliver custom-engineered lifting, handling and motion compensation systems for offshore and industrial applications worldwide. The systems often involve loads measured in hundreds or thousands of tons and operating conditions where standard solutions do not always exist.
As a hydraulic engineer, you will work with hydraulic power systems, energy storage, dynamics and control interaction. The challenge is not selecting components. The challenge is understanding and engineering how the complete system behaves.
Hydraulics, automation, electrical, mechanical and analysis disciplines work closely together throughout the project. Our engineers typically follow projects from concept development and analysis through fabrication, testing, shipyard commissioning and offshore operations.
We are looking for curious engineers who enjoy understanding complex systems and seeing their engineering concepts become real equipment.
