All AXTechs products come complete with a control system of varying complexity from simple electrical control to cutting-edge control systems. We are seeking motivated professionals with experience in drawing and design of electrical systems, that wants to follow the project from design to start-up, commissioning and testing at customers facilities worldwide.
The following main tasks associated with the position:
Join our team and take charge of cutting-edge electrical drive systems projects, where you’ll showcase your expertise in designing and optimizing advanced Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) skids. You'll work with state-of-the-art technology mastering AFE, VFD, BCU, DC-bus systems, and energy regeneration.
- Drive Systems: Lead the calculation and sizing of drive systems for asynchronous and permanent magnet motors, ensuring peak performance and efficiency.
- Technical Expertise: Dive deep into torque-speed characteristics, load dynamics, inertia, acceleration, and master the of efficiency, losses, harmonics, and filtering.
- Innovative Electrical Design: Oversee the design and engineering of electrical systems, from simple control setups to complex, high-performance solutions for demanding applications.
- End-to-End Project Ownership: Plan and execute electrical installations, including distribution boards, frequency converters, control systems, instrumentation and I/O’s.
- Component Specification and Procurement: Define and manage the selection of critical components, such as motors, starters, frequency converters, and energy distribution systems.
- Hands-On Involvement: Contribute throughout the assembly, commissioning, and start-up of our world-class products, both in Norway and internationally.

Qualifications:
- Higher education (B.Sc/M.Sc) in electrical engineering
- Have a desire to participate on site
- Experience with electro-mechanical, electro-hydraulic drives
- Team player and willing to learn
