Many of AXTech’s products are hydraulically driven. The complexity varies from simple cylinder systems to primary and secondary controlled motor systems for wave compensated winches. In this context we need a person with a background in engineering and design of hydraulic systems.

The following main tasks associated with the position:

• Develop and engineering hydraulic systems

• Winch design (Open & Closed loop)
• Passive energy systems
• Lifting & Handling systems
• Active & Passive heave compensation systems
• Advanced hydraulic machinery

• Purchasing of hydraulic equipment and components
• Communication with customers and suppliers
• Contribute to the testing and commissioning of our products worldwide

Qualifications:

• B. Sc / M.Sc in hydraulic engineering, mechanical engineering or other relevant disciplines, relevant work experience can substitute for a lack of formal education.
• Min. 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Experience from relevant industry and technologies is an advantage
• Positive and solution-oriented mindset
• Team player and willing to learn
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
