We're seeking a Concept Development Manager to join our talented multidisciplinary team. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing game-changing equipment concepts that meet AXTech's high standards of functionality, reliability, and industry relevance. You'll also contribute to strengthening our sales efforts by delivering technically advanced and innovative solutions to clients.

As Concept Development Manager, you will:

• Conduct in-depth technical research to develop concepts and principles for custom heavy equipment, creating engaging concept presentations to showcase your designs.

• Take ownership of development projects by leading teams through the design and prototyping process, ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders.

• Utilize 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) to design innovative equipment, preparing detailed 2D arrangement drawings and principal sketches.

• Write clear, concise, and precise technical descriptions of equipment, tailored for internal and client use, to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.

• Handle component sizing, selection, and price inquiries, ensuring the best solutions are used for the project while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

• Collect feedback from the Projects and Aftersales Departments to continuously improve designs, incorporating lessons learned and best practices into future projects.

• Support the standardization of AXTech's corporate design features, and identifying and exploring new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes that can enhance the performance, efficiency, and sustainability of our equipment.

We're looking for a candidate who:

• Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

• Has 5-10 years experience in equipment design and development, preferably within the marine or offshore industries, with a strong understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards.

• Demonstrates great skills in 3D modeling and has experience with CAD tools for concept and detailed design, with proficiency in software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or equivalent.

• Possesses strong technical writing and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely in English, tailored for various audiences.

• Is passionate about innovative engineering and excited to tackle complex technical challenges, with a willingness to learn from experience and apply knowledge to drive improvement.
