The Aftersales Department at AXTech is responsible for a wide range of tasks following the completion of major project deliveries. These tasks include, but are not limited to, Installation & Commissioning, Modifications (Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic), Operational Support, Operator Training, Service Level Agreements, and Spare Part deliveries. With significant growth and increase in client inquiries for the Aftermarket segment in recent years, we are now seeking a mechanical design engineer to play a key role in driving continued growth and success in the years to come.
Mechanical Design Engineer – Modification/Aftermarket
Are you a skilled mechanical engineer with a passion for innovation and problem-solving? AXTech, a leading company in the offshore and marine industries, is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Aftermarket team. This role will see you play a crucial part in the development and modification of equipment for our expanding portfolio of clients in several market sectors.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Participate in all modification project Phases: From design to delivery, you’ll be involved in every stage of the process, ensuring the success of each modification project.
- Design, calculation and drawings, Work on the design, calculations, and drawings for modifications and Aftermarket solutions.
- Component Procurement: Prepare specifications and purchase necessary components for the project.
- Documentation: Prepare technical specifications, function descriptions, maintenance instructions, and other essential documentation to ensure proper project execution.
- Product Testing: Contribute to the testing phase, ensuring all products meet the required standards and performance criteria.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree within mechanical engineering, Marine engineering, Material engineering or similar
- Experience from relevant industries and technology fields is an advantage, but newly graduates may also apply
- Team player and willing to learn and develop
